Villa des Nymphes : AOC Ventoux, AOC Beaumes de Venise, AOC Gigondas and AOC Crozes Hermitage

The Villa des Nymphes offers a range of several leading appellations of the Rhone Valley: AOC Ventoux, AOC Beaumes de Venise, AOC Gigondas and AOC Crozes Hermitage.

AOC Ventoux

The red wines of the AOC Ventoux are wines that benefit fully from the variety of soils present in the geographical area of the AOC. They are rich, well-balanced and suitable for aging. The rosé wines are fresh and aromatic, while the white wines, not very present in the landscape, have an aromatic complexity and a structure that can be appreciated young.

AOC Beaumes de Venise

The red wines of the AOC Beaumes de Venise have an intense color, a nose characterized by an elegant structure, ample and round, and a good balance between acidity, alcohol and silky tannins. For the wines produced from vines at altitude, the aromatic finesse is enhanced by the thermal amplitude between day and night. They are therefore complex wines, but fine, elegant and silky.

AOC Gigondas

Full-bodied and generous, the red wines of the AOC Gigondas present colors between ruby and dark garnet. On the nose, a bouquet of red and black fruits very ripe in its youth will evolve towards wild aromas of undergrowth and truffles.
Due to the use of Mourvèdre, which has natural antioxidant effects, Gigondas has an excellent ageing potential. This grape variety will also enhance the aromatic complexity of the blend, bringing spicy notes.

AOC Crozes Hermitage

The AOC Crozes Hermitage produces red wines with a deep color, a marked but not excessive aromatic power and a good ageing potential. Aromas of red fruits, but also of cocoa, spices or brown tobacco are characteristic of these AOC Crozes Hermitage red wines, with a touch of salt and flint on the palate, giving the wines a velvety, elegant and fresh aspect.
